This is a very useful handmade spalted Maple bowl. Spalting occurs when the wood is beginning to decay. This causes dark lines and patterns in the wood that greatly enhance the beauty of the finished bowl. The last photo shows natural worm holes that also add a bit of character. The bowl has been finished with multiple coats of food safe oil to preserve the beauty of the wood. This would be a great center piece or fruit bowl on your dining room table. My goal is to provide a beautiful piece of art that you'd buy be proud to display in your home.

Do Not put in the water or dishwasher. Its not meant to hold liquid.
Simply wipe with a damp cloth and dry. Care Instructions to be included with bowl.

This bowl is 10 7/8" in diameter and right at 4" tall The inside depth is approximately 3 1/2" It is a very sturdy bowl with 3/8" wall thickness.
