It's perfect accessory for a special occasion, whether it is your own wedding or an elegant party.

Haapsalu, a small resort town on the west coast of Estonia, is famous for its 13th-century castle ruins, curative mud baths, and the legend of the White Lady. About the same amount of recognition has been brought to Haapsalu by its hand-knit lacy scarves and shawls. The skill has been handed down from mother to daughter, from one master knitter to another for one and half centuries.

Shawl with pattern Queen Sofia was a present for Spanish Queen Sofia on 2009.

Knitted shawls are so fine that they can be pulled through a ladies' wedding ring. The Haapsalu lace is known by many nupps (bubble) that give the lace dignity and also proofs that lace is hand knitted and not knitted on a machine.

Made to order. Knitting the shawl takes 2 weeks. Please convo me the yarn color and what yarn you wish - merino or lamb wool or wool, where is 70% merino+20% silk+10% cashmere.
