Artisan Spiral Statement Necklace, Ceramic Celtic Spiral Necklace, Ceramic Swirl Necklace
This handmade ceramic necklace was made from black clay formed into discs with imprinted spirals. It was first bisque fired in the kiln then glazed with orange glaze which was rubbed back and the given a coat of clear glaze before being returned to the kiln for a second firing.
The finished colour is a deep rich buy brown and the finished piece has the look of an ancient artefact.
The spirals are separated with antique copper scroll beads and it is strung on a rich brown, soft leather cord. The clasp and extension chain are antique copper.
The necklace measures 59 cm (23.2 inches)
