1940s vintage navy uniform shirt with hidden liberty stitching on the underside. Stitching on back seems incomplete and was perhaps part of a bigger piece that was later removed. The word/name Fahe is stitched to the hem. Maybe to remind him of a sweetheart back home? Note in the last photo was found in exterior pocket. Excellent condition, no issues to note.

chest/pit to pit- 38"
waist- just over 32"
hip- just under 34'
length- 22"
shoulder seam to seam- 15"
sleeve length from shoulder seam- 21"
It is quite small and does not stretch!
Dress form is about a size 2 and it was snug

*MEASURING TIP*
My clothing measurements are taken with garments laying flat. Chest and hip measurements are doubled. The best way to utilize this is to take a similar garment you own and measure it laying flat, then compare your numbers with mine-they do not need to be exactly the same, just similar. If you know your body measurements, remember that some buy garments (especially non-stretch fabrics) require a few inches of wiggle room in areas such as the hip.
