Antique hand made stitched folk art lion made from a deer pelt buy .

Lion figure that has real hyde that I believe is deer. Hand stitched to a hard body underneath (can't tell what that's made from as I can't see it, but it's hard) with real hair on the end of his tail that feels like horsehair to me. His whiskers are not natural - they are man made. He has glass eyes, and his mouth is hand painted - I don't know if that's plaster inside or what it's made from, his buy ears are short stubs - so I can't tell if they were originally that way or if there's any loss. He will stand on his own and You can see that all of the hyde is hand stitched. though. He measures 15” long from the tip of his tail to his mouth at the front, he's 10 1/2” tallest at the top of his head and he is 3 1/4' widest across his back.
