This cheese serving set includes two glass plates and a wooden knife. The glass plates are made by fusing pieces of brown and amber glass onto a transparent amber base. The cheese plate is about 5" buy X 8", and the cracker plate is about 4" X 8". The surface is smooth and shiny. They are completely food safe, but should not be put in a microwave. The cheese plate has polyurethane bumpers on the bottom, so it sits very solid. Would make a great gift.
