Wood buy vessel

I turned this beautiful vessel on a lathe with a sold piece of wood.I was told it is Carob wood, which is a hard wood and has natural reddish color to it. The lid is made from buy segmented walnut for the perfect contrast. This is a very classy piece that would make a wonderful one of a kind gift for that special person in your life.
