Most of the 23 rhinestones are dark buy and not noticeable. All I did here was permanently add a black & yellow 1940s Celluloid cameo.
Beautiful antique Victorian Edwardian Hair Tall mantilla or Spanish comb. This beautiful comb is a rich amber color and has an elaborate scroll design with dark topaz rhinestones. It is made in the Art Nouveau style with scrolled, curlicues, filigree.
This comb is 75 years old & in great condition. The only flaw is a few of the rhinestones have darkened. But they are all there! This will take a lot of hair to support, or a bun, hair piece or something .
The hair comb is 6 1/4" inches tall & 4 7/8" inches wide.
Lots of possibilities for wearing. The Spanish Dancers worn such a comb high above an elaborate hair do and they were very popular in 1875.
