Hand Embroidered Pet buy Portrait

A totally custom, made to order, hand embroidered portrait of your very own furry (or scaley, feathery, etc) friend! What more could an animal lover want!?

Whether a new friend, a catty confidant, or a memorial for a loved one that has left us, a personal and carefully handmade portrait is a great way to honor, memorialize, and celebrate the dogs, cats, birds, lizards, and fish that change our lives.

Please attach or email ([email protected]) one or several well-lit (daylight is ideal), straight on or profile photo of the pet you would like captured in thread. Be sure that the photo is complete, including the bottom of the face and the shoulders, the ears, the back of the head if in profile. I am happy to make suggestions or chose the best photo for the final project with you!

I first draw a custom line portrait of the pet, to be approved by you, and then hand stitch onto an off-white fabric, please include if you have a specific request for the fabric color. I use a single thread for fine details and two for more prominent lines, creating a great balance of line weights and an overall dynamic final piece. Please remember to include the pets name, which will be embroidered in either basic, capital letters, or cursive (if not specified, I will chose). Finally, a ring of your chosen accent color pulls the portrait together into a cohesive, modern, and one-of-a-kind piece of art. Once complete, I send a photo before backing and finishing the hoop.

As an animal lover and mom to many pets over my life, I know how important a pet can truly be. I take these portraits to heart and treasure spending so much time with each face. In order to make sure I can give your or your buy loved ones portrait the attention I know they deserve, I ask for 4 to 6 weeks to complete but am happy to update you through email.
