Festive Ballerina, HTF, Madame Alexander, 8" Articulated Doll, Neck Ribbon, Box, Wrist Tag, Paperwork has good condition original box with clear label, nice overall finish and shape, exception being very superficial imperfections in lid top finish, only seen when light strikes the surface of the completely flat lid top with even color. Still very suitable for gifting. A more recent doll than most all in the shop, she is offered because of ballet theme and extreme desirability. Restringing was not needed due to proper care/storage. (NOTE: Doll descriptive details in 2nd paragraph). Hair retains original braiding, felt flowers and hairnet, lifted up for photos. She looks as though never displayed. Articulated at neck, shoulders, elbows, waist, thighs and knees, all fully functional. Ballet costuming, all ribbon and flower trims, hair floral elements are perfect and intact and colors are still as vibrant as original. Thin neck ribbon is in opened plastic bag.(I can place it prior to shipping if desired). Ballet shoes, lacings and shoe soles are as new. Wrist tag is present, seen in photos, slipped off wrist for photos. Please study the photos to confirm description. NOTE: This doll has become a bit expensive to offer and quite hard to get in...reflected in the price.

A scintillating, sizzling statement of hot colors, this beautifully-appointed ballerina is as festive as they come! Her exceptional appeal is inevitable, due to the unusual use of color and the strategic placement of simply styled, soft felt flowers, stars and leaves throughout her costume. Softly glimmering, her drop waist tutu has two standout tulle layers, orange over fuchsia. Her off-the-shoulder puff sleeves, in a fine, silky soft netting, work back to her pale pink ballet shoes and shimmer tights. Waistband ends in a surprising flash of fuchsia and orange double back bow. Her elegant hairstyle with wrap braids is a ballerina classic, enhanced by little nape curls and circlet of matching felt forms. Side-offset felt cluster accents her bodice edge, extending to her shoulder. A very different take from the pastel ballerina, her vibrancy adds a decidedly modern flair!

MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.

MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps, no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands, ( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
