Sweet antique Edwardian circa 1911 two-piece wedding tea dress. This charming dress is made of white cotton, the top has a lace yolk and high neck, pintucks in a v-pattern down the front and back, elbow length sleeves with pintucks, lace trim and small baubles at the cuffs. The skirt has gathering at the waist and beautiful lace with embroidered details and designs, it is about one inch longer in the back hemline. Both pieces close in the back with hooks that are covered on the outside with small faux crocheted buttons.
Condition: Very good antique condition, clean and fresh, two small rust buy spots and a sm. hole on the side of the lace at the neck where there is a metal stay see pic #10 top left, an area on the skirt near the hemline where the cotton is torn see top right pic #10, tiny holes, repairs or breaks in the brides on the lace on the skirt near the hemline.
Measurements: taken laying flat approx; 15” across shoulders, 16” across bust, 12” waist (skirt and top), 13” sleeve length, 5 3/4” across the top of the neck opening, 39” & 40” skirt length.
