Vintage 4x5 Inch B&W Photo Film Negatives, buy Seventeen Panama Canal Scenes, From the 1920s Time Frame

Vintage photos, 4x5 inch film negatives. Seventeen Panama Canal scenes from the 1920s. This is based on the presence of a Savoia-Marchette flying boat in the harbor at a town alongside the canal. This craft was first operational in 1926, but the company went out of business in1929. The planes remained operational into the 1930s. The other scenes are of buy the canal-side towns. One of the pictures shows the tow tractor that was used to pull ships into and through the locks. A nice set of pictures for the historically inclined collector. There are seventeen negatives, but Etsy limits photo to ten that can be shown.

The negatives are in good condition with minimal emulsion damage and generally good focus and exposure.

NOTE: The negatives were scanned at low resolution for viewing and not for downloading. The buyer receives the original negatives having the high resolution consistent with the photo emulsion.
