Musique Des Dieux (Music of the Gods) depicts the mythical Pan in the central square, flanked by four friezes containing satyrs, nymphs, and centaurs playing instruments and dancing. Page 154 of Carrés d'art IV (photos 7 and 8) show this scarf has a rarity index of 2 and an interest value of 3. Its pale, cool tones combined with floral and vegetal designs give this scarf both a calming and fresh appeal. Lovers of all things Hellenic are sure to appreciate the Greek lettering of "Hermès Paris" (photo five), the names of the instruments (photo three), and the overall nod to highly stylized Athenian vases. Two slight areas of discoloration are shown on the underside of both the upper and lower right corners in photo six. In addition, the tag has been removed. There is also some staining on buy the box and I don't have the original acid free paper. But beyond that, this 90 cm (35 in.) beauty, from Autumn/Winter 1996, designed by Claudia Stuhlhofer-Mayr is perfect. Open to offers :).
