The LAKE SERIES, by Kate Elizabeth at THE KATE CASTLE, is an abstract collection dedicated to the unique geological thumbprint left behind from the glacial area, surviving in our world as lakes. Bodies of water unique, beautiful and personal, lakes tell a story buy of our past. This series is dedicated to the water that is the life source of our planet.

These works are a blend of pigment, water and natural sunlight, which gives each piece unique fissures/texture in the drying process.

+ Lake name and signature on back in color complimenting fine tip ink.
+ For paintings representing existing lakes, orientation (vertical or horizontal) of your lake will be determined by the lake's shape. For example, if your lake is long and wide, I will paint it horizontally to best fill out the allotted paper space.
