Bohemian buy Garnet Star Pin

One of the more popular forms, this Bohemian garnet star pin features 6 points and is made in two layers of rose-cut garnets.

The deep red stones sparkle in the light. It measures approx. 1 1/4" in diameter.

This pin is in excellent condition and has an early (probably hand-made) rollover clasp indicative of late 19th century work. The modern rollover safety clasp buy became widely used after 1930.
