I have had so many people comment on this fitted tablecloth I made for my dining room table that I had to offer it here! This fashionable and unique table covering also serves as a protector for your tabletop. It can be left on continuously, or put it on when you have those "spilly" guests over, or when the kids are having playtime or snack time. It's custom-made to fit snugly and stay securely on your table without the use of elastics or ugly fasteners. Sleek and chic, your table will look fabulous and be protected from life's everyday hazards. Great for card tables too!

- MEASURING -
You'll need a measuring tape and three measurements for this. Please see the "Measuring Your Table" diagram in the photo gallery for help, (zoom in for the clearest picture), and measure to the nearest 1/4" (0.5 cm). Please send me the following measurements in a message when you place your order so I can accurately make your table protector: L = the length of the table at its longest part, W = the width of the table at its widest part, T = the thickness of the table top, not including the apron if there is one (this will probably be in the 3/4" (2 cm) to 3" (8 cm) range) for most tables.

- CALCULATING -
A few simple sums and you're done:

For Rectangular, Square and Boat-Shaped Tables:
If your T+L+T= 68" (173 cm) or less, use the Size 1 option.
If your T+L+T= 104" (265 cm) or less, use the Size 2 option.
If your T+L+T= 140" (356 cm) or less, use the Size 3 option.
* If your T+W+T= 49" (125 cm) or more, your table is wider than a single-width of fabric will allow and will require seams. Please contact me for a custom quote.

- PICTURES -
Snapping a couple pictures is very important so I know exactly what type of table I'm working with and what the edge and corner details look like. Fortunately, this is very easy today with most people having access to a digital camera. Please send a couple good, clear pictures of the overall table, as well as some detail shots of the side and corners to help me make this perfect for you.

- XAVIER FABRIC DETAILS -
The fabric I use to create your table protector is a very high-quality 100% Polyester woven exactly as natural linen is - showing subtle variations in each thread to give a more rustic but still luxurious fabric. It is machine-washable, stain-resistant and practically indestructible

The fabric has the following certifications and is incredibly safe to have around your family, children and guests:
* 50,000 Double Rubs Wyzenbeck Method (excellent abrasion resistance and durability)
* Cleaning Code W (clean fabrics with water-based cleaning agents or water-based foam)

- COLOR CHOICES -

- TABLE SHAPES & TEMPLATES -
Rectangular, Square, Boat-shaped, Round, Oval, Hexagonal, Octagonal - all of these are possible! Rectangular and Square shapes are easiest but if you have an irregular shape, or any curves, curved or beveled corners, I will need a template sent to me for an exact fit. The easiest way to do this if you don't have huge sheets of paper lying around is with newspapers - securely tape a bunch of the pages together to cover the surface of your table with a couple inches more hanging over and draw the outline. Fold it up and send it to me and I will send you back your beautiful tablecloth!

- TABLE LEAVES -
Of course I can accommodate table leaves! If you want your tablecloth to fit with the leaves in, just measure it that way. You can also get multiples in different sizes, one with the leaves in and one out, maybe even different colors for each? That way, your table will be protected whether you're having a bunch of people over, or it's just you.
