This is a stunning Victorian antique mourning brooch.The brooch was made in the 1890s era.It is sometimes hard to tell the materials of black Victorian jewellery,but in my opinion the main part of the brooch is bogwood and the decorative spherical balls are made of jet handcut and polished.(but I am not entirely sure).The brooch is oval and has a lovley handcut decorative motif of a flower and leaves.The brooch is in good condition,for its age.the The pin and c clasp are in good working order.The pin though is a replacement but works wellPlease study the pictures and check the buy sizes.It comes with a velvet drawstring bag.
