This weaving is a sweet pastel rainbow...perfect for any room in your home but especially for a nursery or child's room. It is hung on a simple wood dowel.

This weaving is unique and handwoven on a Japanese SAORI loom. SAORI weaving is a style and philosophy of weaving originating in Japan. It embraces weaving as a means to discover our true selves and to express creativity. It breaks with conventional thinking and believes a weaving can capture the thoughts and feelings that we have at that time.

This beautiful woven wall hanging was created in my home studio in a pet free and smoke free environment. I use buy a variety of fibres including wool/merino/roving/cotton/handspun and hand dyed yarns.

It measures 40" long and 15" wide. The wood dowel is 22" long.
