Vintage ELGIN AUTOMATIC buy Model 4364, Solid Stainless Steel, SWISS Made, Hi Beat Movement, Circa Early 1970's----Serviced-----

From the early 1970's a rather rare ELGIN Model 4364 with a very special dial with Roman Numerals, Elgin rarely made dials with this type of numeral.
The case is solid stainless steel and in excellent condition, measuring 33.5mm in width excluding the original crown.
The dial is superb, it has aged nicely and has a very vintage looking patina, but as mentioned the special feature with compliments this watch is the Roman Numeral dial, very unusual and very striking.
The crystal is new having been fitted during our service.
The stainless steel case back does have a small of amount of light personal engraving.
The SWISS made AUTOMATIC movement is identified as an ELGIN Cal 996, (Schild Cal 1902) a 25 Jewel movement with the higher beat rate of 21,600 bph.
The movement has been cleaned and oiled and is running superbly.
Presented on a new 18mm leather strap.
