My tribute to the inimitable Mo Mowlam.
An integral player in bringing about the Good Friday Agreement whilst in her role as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1994 - 1997), Mo Mowlam was and still is an inspiration to many.
Known for her straight talking and quick wit; a fearsome female leader.
I have brought together a trio of phrases attributed to her during these historic talks in tribute.
'Bloody well get on and do it. Otherwise I'll headbutt you.' - Mo Mowlam to Gerry Adams
'Fuck Off.' - Mo Mowlam to Ian Paisley in 1997
'Call me Mo.' - Mo Mowlam to those she met, showing no need for airs or graces.

This piece was hand drawn digitally using Procreate on an iPad Pro. Each digital illustration is drawn using the buy same methods I would use were I drawing a picture using more traditional tools. No shortcuts are taken - all layers, colours, highlights and shading are drawn completely by hand - not using any software trickery.
Drawing digitally gives me the versatility to work at any time, in any place. Most often in my case, whilst being present for my children. I can work around and alongside them without having to lock myself or my paints and tools away.
