Product code: Pyrex Friendship Rectangle 1.5 qt 0503 Baking buy Fridge pan with 503C Lid birds
Gorgeous early 70s Pyrex 0503 rectangular casserole with original clear 503c lid and "Friendship" pattern of red and orange Pennsylvania Dutch style birds. Designed by Gregory Mirow. Excellent condition. I do note a little nick in the breast of the lefthand bird on one side (can't tell if this is wear or a factory flaw) and I feel a tiny rough spot on the seam on the edge of the lid (again, could be a fleabite or just a manufacturing flaw) and an even tinier nick on one of the ribs of the lid. There's also a little nipple on the lid seam but it isn't rough and is clearly a manufacturing artifact. Has been used buy lightly and doesn't appear to have ever been in a dishwasher. Will be very carefully packed with wrapping around both pieces (to say the least, but I want you to know that I know what I'm doing lol. I once received some teacups in a flimsy shoebox so I no longer assume everyone knows how to ship things, it was traumatic for sure) and shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
