2. Advise the main and sub text via the Personalization text box (ie. run name & resort name ... although can be anything you want)

4. We send you a rendering once we receive your order
5. Once the rendering is approved we make your unique sign & ship in 3-5 days (volume orders may take a little longer so feel free to message us for an expected schedule)

These ski trail / piste marker name signs let you bring a small bit of your favourite ski resort home ... or send to someone longing to be back. They are intended to be fully customizable ... you can add arrows pointing in any direction, swap out the run difficulty for a chairlift symbol, make it more of an Apres ski sign with food / beverage graphics. As we are selling mainly to Canadians and Americans most of the examples we have done are for North American styles of sign … but if you want the European ski trail sign look then we can do that too. Just mention this on the order.

Tell us the name of the resort & the name of the run and we'll do the rest unless of course who want other graphics as explained above... whether it's your most challenging double black run or the bunny hill where you started out or the run you like to cruise the most.

The standard sign seen in most of the photos is made from solid pine. IF THE SIGNS WILL BE OUTDOORS THEN YOU WANT THE FIR OPTION. The fir product comes with an exterior protective clear coat + fir stands up better to the elements compared to pine.

MATERIAL CHOICE (options available vary by product):

Please remember that wood by its very nature is an imperfect material with natural character and no two pieces are exactly the same as is the case with most things in nature. As with all our signs we will send you a rendering first once we get your order so you can make any corrections ... and then from there it takes only a few days before this is on it's way.

Knotty pine: this is a softer wood with lots of knots and more rustic in appearance ... the knots are where the branches would have grown out of the tree & the wood is both harder & darker where there are knots. The placement of the knots is completely random. Knots are typically darker compared to the surrounding light wood. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE NATURAL CHARACTER OF WOOD then either avoid ordering any of our products as they are all made from wood OR stick to maple as it has less variation.

Canadian maple: this is a more expensive species and also this is a denser / harder wood than the knotty pine and has far fewer natural defects such as knots. It has a similar light tone but also cuts a little crisper due to the density of the wood.

PLEASE REMEMBER these are not intended to replicate metal or plastic signs as they will contain some degree of natural character.

## WALL MOUNTING >>> for indoors use our signs are intended to be mounted on the wall or a door or some other vertical flat surface. As of Jan 2022 we will supply metal hangers with all our signs unless advised otherwise (select the appropriate option when ordering your sign). These are the type that slip over 2 screws on the surface so that the sign does not protrude more than about 1/8" from the wall. See the last photo in the product gallery for an example.
