It was manufactured in Germany more than 7 decades ago.
Zig Zag for household machines was mainly introduced in the 60's by the German Sewing Machine industry.
Though NECCHI from mid 1940's and ELNA from mid 50's, had Zig Zag machines, it was the German Manufacturers that really spread Zig Zag machines. Even SINGER had the biggest percentage of their zig zag machines production for buy their German Factory. This is mainly the reason why so many SINGER zig zag machines were only made in Germany and nowhere else.

It is constructed from high grade stainless steel and it's condition is really glowing as you can see in the photos provided, it is Over built and will outlast many lifetimes, like most Vintage items will do ;-)
Fabulous German quality, at it's best. With the typical German stainless steel of the time, works like a Swiss clock!
