1940s vintage cotillion emma domb pale pink dress, off shoulder, vintage rose flower buy

sweet party dress from the 1940s (or possibly early 50s) by california designer, emma domb.
dress has off the shoulder styling with a wide panel at the top of the bodice that extends up over the shoulders.
this will be either floor, ankle or tea length depending upon the height of the wearer.
gown can be altered or deconstructed, using the beautiful pale pink fabric to create a new design.
tag sewn in is vintage 'emma domb, california' tag.
fabric content is not listed, but it is a type of low-sheen taffeta.
dress has some issues in the form of some areas of soiling; some at the left shoulder (see last photo); there is some issue with the panel at the top of the bodice; it doesn't drape properly. it could perhaps be pressed or altered to correct the problem.
there may be other small flaws, but there are no significant issue, other than the aforementioned drape.
dress would benefit from a cleaning perfomed by a reputable dry cleaner who is accustomed to working buy with vintage fabrics and garments.
i am selling this at a reduced price to compensate for this.
i have no idea of the size of this garment; it would not fit on my dress form as the zipper is rather short and my dress form has a slim but athletic build with broad shoulders.

measurements of the gown, taken with the garment lying flat:
the dress is 17.75 from underarm to underarm (measured from the seams)
waist, seam to seam 12.75"
measurement from shoulder to waist is 17" (waist dips in center; measurement taken at the side of the waist).
there is a back zipper (in good working order) which is 11.5" long
the length of the gown is 57.5" from the top of the shoulder to the hem.
dress is being sold in its as-found vintage condition.
