This dignified American Indian Chief assemblage is a testimony of the lives of the American Indian that inhabited America. Many died as unfriendly encounters with colonists and soldiers ensued. In this piece of art I have chosen to depict the beauty and dignity of the native Americans. The picture is a large vintage flash card of an Indian, beautifully illustrated. There is also a small old puzzle piece of the state of Montana. The horse is made of hard plastic. The piece pipe smoked by many tribes is an old metal screw driver that resembles an actual peace pipe. Feathers are to remind us of the beauty of the headdress worn by the various tribes. The small old Bible signifies the missionaries that brought Christianity to the Indians. The beautiful vintage box has a sawtooth hanger and the size of the box is 14" Tall x 10" Wide x 3" Deep. This would be a lovely piece of art to hang as a reminder of our past history and and the inclusion so needed today.
