The Eri silk is hand spun before being hand woven on a traditional back-strap loom. The colours are mindfully kept sober to imitate the ancient bhutanese textiles before the introduction of chemical dyed yarns in the Bhutan textiles scene.

The patterns on these scarves are the one used in traditional scarves. These scarves are double faced which means the motif is present and equally beautiful on both side of the scarf. This can only be realized by buy a handful of weavers in Bhutan.
