Hidesign Briefcase In Striking Cognac Leather With Brass Hardware - Beautifully buy Worn Condition

This is a vintage Hidesign cognac color leather briefcase or business messenger bag.

This is a versatile bag that you can carry by it's handle or use with its cross body detachable shoulder strap with comfort pad. This bag has a dual front buckle strap closure system. It has plenty of organizational compartments, slots, and pouches. It has 2 front pockets under the flap. buy There are 3 gussets inside along with 2 large zipper pockets, There is an organization panel with 3 pen holders and one ID leather slot. The top has a leather handle. A detachable original shoulder strap is included. The hardware is gold toned, likely brass. The inside is lined with the Hidesign signature green, purple, blue and gold plaid cloth. The bag has a Hidesign logo.

Condition:

This bag is in good but worn condition. It has no rips, tears or holes that compromise the structural integrity of the bag but it does have tears on the corners and a half inch stitch separation in the base of one of the compartments that will not interfere with use and can be quickly stitched. (See collages at photo 5 and 9)The price of this bag has been reduced to reflect this condition. In addition,like most vintage bags it has some scuffing and scratches. Hidesign has been manufacturing briefcases since the 1970s. We do not have vintage catalogs for this company to determine the precise date it was manufactured. However, based on my research about the history of this company, the materials used to construct this briefcase amd articles about the age of similar briefcases, it is my opinion this case was manufactured sometime in the 1970s to 1980s.
