Vintage 1960's Mod Ivory Creme Cotton Lace A Line Dress Ruffle Collar buy Long Sleeves Wedding Bridal Mary Quant Style The Sidneys Medium
The 1960's saw a revolution in what women chose to wear.
No longer was there a need for girdles to cinch the waist but rather a "Youth Quake" (think Mary Quant) took place that saw the introduction of mini skirts and A line silhouettes.
This fantastic 60's dress is made in a creme/ivory cotton lace that is finely crocheted (by machine).
Highest quality construction.
A-line buy silhouette with a ruffle at the round neckline and at the center front opening that is made up of a layer of lace and a layer of light beige silk organza.
Narrow shoulders with set in long sleeves with ruffle cuffs.
Lace fabric covered buttons at the center front.
Fully lined in beige silk organza.
It comes with a creme rayon short spaghetti strap slip and a beige satin wide belt, however, I don't know if these were originally designed to go with the dress. I will include them with purchase.
