Own a piece of History Abalone and mother and pearl calling card case comes with the original papers found inside. I love found paper and couldn't believe my eyes when I opened this bad boy up for the first time. The boat referenced in the first tea papers is a UK navel ship. The price of whales in 1919 was Edward. He was a very interesting prince and later king. The calling cards inside are for a Mr and Mrs Henry E. Knight. The Victorian gold fill pencil is a wonderfully interesting piece. It has the remnant of a Victorian brooch hinge and clasp. Some time shortly after it was first bought in the late 1800s the owner had a brooch back put on. I have been unable to find another one exactly like it. Uv protecting acrylic and acid-free paper buy are used to keep everything looking for years to come. Everything is removable. To pull it all together, I have included a jet glass Victoria mourning button. Note the missing side of the card case. If your interested in another time, let me know.
