Stunning Italian cameo hand carved, shows some tool marks ITALY mark on the backside bottom, fits beautifully in it's mounting, appears to be a shell cameo set in a gold tone setting w/ silver tone edgings; the setting around the cameo is in a gold tone fine rope setting, measures 1” L x 20mm W
CONDITION: Excellent lovely no cracks or breaks, strong pin w/ safety closure ~ Loop for pendant is a bit out of center and bent downwards, some of the fine rope setting around the cameo is a bit worn w/ buy the rope more smoothed out on just one side ~
