This is one of the most amazing and gorgeous teapots I have had the pleasure of ownership. It is lustrous and heavily gilded in all the right places!

Take a look at the magpie used for the finial or handle for the top. In Chinese culture, the magpie symbolizes joy, good luck, happiness and fortune!

There was no lack of attention to detail in anyway during craftsmanship!

It stands about 8 1/2 inches tall at the magpie finial. It is just over 7 1/2 inches between the outside edge of the handle and the outside edge of the spout. The diameter of the pot itself is about 3 1/2 inches. The base measures just over 3 inches in diameter.

This bone China teapot was made in China. I can not place an exact date on it but I strongly believe it is very old in spite of its absolutely perfect condition. This is definitely a luxurious teapot, and is ready for new ownership!
