Cuddle Doon Nursery is proud to announce the arrival of a new custom -- Custom Ashley Asleep Realborn. This doll is not silicone. This doll has a cloth body, and vinyl limbs and head. Please note that the baby in the pictures was a previous Ashley Asleep reborn that I made. She now has a home.

~About Cuddle Doon Nursery~

My name is Elizabeth Parks, and I am the artist behind Cuddle Doon Nursery. I have been creating these adorable little dolls since August 2008 and love bringing these little dolls to life. My babies have found homes around the globe.

Each baby reborn is very special, and I always try to give each one " personality". Although reborn doll kits are manufactured by the thousands, each artist's work and techniques are different.
I am very particular with my work and use only the highest quality materials. My work is very detailed--nothing is overlooked. It takes 6 to 8 weeks to create a Cuddle Doon Nursery preemie reborn with painted hair and 10 weeks for rooted hair. I take care to paint in many transparent layers so the baby's skin tone is as close to reality as possible.

Painted with Genesis Heat Set Paints and Ultimate Fusion paints.

I use Genesis Heat Set Paints and Ultimate Fusion paints for their durability. All of my dolls are created with heirloom quality in mind. However, please handle these babies with gentle loving care. Never leave a reborn doll in the sun, in a car, place in water, or place near anything with ink. *These dolls are collectibles and are not intended for children. This doll is not a toy!*

Your doll will be carefully mottled and blushed with layers upon layers of paint for superior coloring and amazing realism. The lips and nails will be sealed for protection and just the right amount of shine. I always add one last thin layer of GHSP Varnish before I consider the painting completed. This seals the paints and prevents shine. Without this layer, most vinyl dolls will produce some amount of shine with excessive handling. Matte/Satin varnish helps prevent much of this from happening.


Your doll will be buy weighted to feel very realistic and the head will be weighted so that it will need to be supported just like an actual baby's. I use high-quality, ultra-soft poly-fil in my dolls. Your reborn baby will be wonderful to hold and hard to put down! My dolls are known for feeling very cuddly.

For rooted hair options: I micro-root all my babies with ultra-premium, baby fine mohair. It is so amazingly soft and shiny---so real. The hair and lashes will be glued from the inside of the head so the hair can be moistened and styled.

*Please note: This doll will contain two strong magnets for a hair bow and magnetic pacifier. Please keep this in mind if handling her around electronics or Pacemakers. I can leave the magnets out if need be.
