This ring features a gorgeous squoval/ squared oval, small tigers eye stone. The stone is lovely in the sunlight! It is set in a copper bezel with a size 6 3/4 US comfort band so it can be worn all the time without being irritating.
The metal used is jewelry grade copper- which is historically the first metal humans have worked with. This is why I continue to use it as a jewelry artist- I find it wonderfully fascinating to use a material so central to human history. Copper is also known for cleansing and protective energies, so it is a good material for jewelry for this reason. Copper does stain skin of some people as it oxidizes, a sign of it cleaning. Some people do not mind this and love to allow the copper to evolve without interference. However, this oxidation can be prevented by sealing the metal. It is an easy, quick process that will prevent the green discoloration on the wearers skin, so anyone can enjoy the beauty of copper jewelry.
