I am really glad to have an opportunity to present you my artwork. I have been creating pysanky for almost 25 years. I create my compositions on my own and I combine them with traditional folk ornaments of Western Ukraine, where pysanky have been a part of culture for hundreds of years. I create my pysanky using kistka and beeswax with original batik technique. Some of my work is done using etched egg technique. Both of these techniques are very ancient and have their roots since the beginning of pysankarstwo. All eggs are hand blown, washed and processed thermally.
To make colors last longer pysanky are covered with several layers of UV protection.
