*** The metals I use are 14K gold filled, 14K and 24K gold vermeil, 14K and 18K solid gold, and sterling silver. The metals used for each piece are listed. People often confuse gold vermeil for gold plating, but they are not the same! Gold vermeil is fine sterling silver, dipped in 14k gold, vermeil style. The gold has approximately 40% more gold than standard gold plating, which often covers bronze or other lesser metals, not sterling silver as in gold vermeil. The artisans from Thailand who make the gold vermeil pieces I buy use in my jewelry work hard to craft the pieces as they require time and skill, and I think they are very special and add dimension to the jewelry.

*** All the jewelry you see in this shop is handmade by me. Often the quality that makes handmade jewelry special is the same quality that can make it a bit more delicate. It is best if jewelry is always removed before exercise, bathing, and sleeping. Please treat gently, as jewelry will last longer with care.
