I'm pretty sure you're going to want to display these, rather than use them, but yes, they were made to use and were used for many years.

This is a lot of 2 spoons and 1 gently curved paddle. The ages and patinas vary, with the big scoop spoon being the oldest. Its surface feels like velvet. The smaller spoon is probably the newest piece, but its still got bragging rights for excellent aged patina. These are truly beautiful.
