Vintage 1920s, 1930s cast metal or lead deer figurine bookends. These are very unique and beautiful.  I do not know the material of the actual bookends as they were quite heavy buy, but feel like composition material with papier-mâché overlay. Hand painted background of nature scene. There is some cracking in the painting overlay due to the age of the items. Please see photographs for measurements and better visual description of the items. .
