This oval stoneware landscape platter shows a fast flowing river in Canadian Shield country. The water is bluish green, with textured blue-gray rock in the foreground, and a sleek green-black rock face as the far shore.
These platters are made of durable speckled cream colored stoneware, and are decorated with my own food safe stoneware glazes. They are highly functional as serving dishes, but also make a dramatic statement when displayed on a plate stand.
This large platter is 16 1/4” long, 12" wide, and 1” deep. It makes a great turkey platter, or sandwich or dessert tray. I also make small and medium platters, buy featuring other Ontario landscapes. The three sizes stack together neatly.
