Rare Early buy Bakelite Copacabana Ash Tray w/Monte Proser's Name 1940

We are very pleased to offer for sale this rare, early Copacabana ash tray that was made around 1940 as it has embossed on it "Monte Proser's Copacabana" and as he opened the club in 1940 and only stayed with it for a few years. The piece is in a black Bakelite and has a holder for the matched in the center. The ashtray measures 22 inches around. The only markings on the back seem to be to letters in a circle which look like a P and an F. Condition is very good for it's buy age.
