His ears are soft felt. Walter wears an outfit perfect for driving his surrey - flannel plaid pants with a brown leather jacket and straw hat. His vintage plastic dog Melvin provides the pulling power for their surrey wagon which is a piece from a metal toy wagon. Walter Beardsley is about 5 inches tall without his wagon.
