The glass fragments are hand painted before being fired in a kiln at temperatures of around 650 degrees centigrade. This results in a design which will never fade.
The glass fragments are pieced together using cut segments of lead came which are soldered together. Putty is then forced between the came edge and the glass buy to seal the item and make it weatherproof.
The panel can sit on your window sill, be incorporated into a window, door or fence etc. It can be kept outdoors all year round and is completely frost proof.
