This buy round painting combines multiple birds of different paintings by Melchior d'Hondecoeter. The pelican is one of the most well known characters on the plate! He was painted for Palace het Loo in 1680. The birds came together once more, but this time to sit as a model for a modern wall plate and with one of our beautiful Delft blue vases.
