Antique 1908 William Howard Taft & VP Sherman “Grand Old Party" Presidential Election Campaign Tin Tray Original tin tray from William Howard Taft and VP James Sherman's 1908 bid for the Presidency. Features two portraits of the candidates surrounded by prominent Republican figures around the edge of the tray. Previous owner had buy silvered over the area just below the portraits of the two candidates, covering their names, for an unknown reason. Other than that, a few light scuffs but good shape! About a 9.5" wide diameter.
