Original 1950s buy vintage black and silver cat eye spectacles by American Optical. Acetate and aluminium frame. Formidably stylish design for it's time or any other time. The materials used are so far ahead of their era, that it's hard to believe they're 65 years old and if they were designed today, would still be perceived as innovative (at least by people who don't know vintage). The arms are matt aluminium but the the application on the brow is steel with ornate cutwork. The steel is especially eye-catching and, we are obliged to say, makes these glasses very difficult to underrate.

Comes with prescription lenses which must be replaced with your own prescription.
Pre-owned and used. Some general wear but good overall condition.
