The Queen Mother celebrated her 100th birthday in 2000 and a silver coin was struck in her honour by the Royal Mint.
The coin was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley and his initial appear on both sides.
The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II, wearing a tiara and the monarch's legend and the date: ELIZABETH · II · D · G REG · F · D · 2000.
On the reverse is a portrait of the Queen Mother wearing a diamond tiara. Below her is her
signature and above her are included her title, dates and denomination.
Approx 39mm in diameter.
