Fall ‘72 is a great period for the Dead as they are still flying high from their ‘72 European Excursion but are beginning to turn the corner and embark on the jazz exploration period that defined their ‘73-‘74 sound. Grateful Dead ‘78 “Shakedown Street” a la ‘Disco Dead'. Crazy album produced by Little Feat's Lowell George. Sounds like the audio equivalent buy of cocaine. Lastly, yes it's a “Best Of” but definitely some fun lil nuggets in there including the studio cut of ‘Dark Star' which Garcia plays a little banjo on. All discs PLAY TESTED and sound great! Enjoy!.
