Ook, King of the Hill, the Stone-Age Cave Dragon
One-of-a-kind fantasy art doll by Deb Salisbury, of MagicSeeker Dragons.
Ook is perched on a pile of rock, and today he's King of the Hill – Overhill and Underhill! Being a fashionable dragon, he's wearing a lizard-skin wrap that sets off his coloring perfectly. He found a wooden club and a stone axe, and he'll defend his position until dinner time.
Ook is approximately 5 1/2” tall, 8" including his rock pile, and 4” by 4” wide. His body was created around a buy devil's claw seed pod with a single tail. His arms and legs are wire, his wings are made of gauze, and he has faceted glass eyes. His shape and coloring were created with acrylic paint. He's wearing an iridescent "lizard hide" made of gauze.
Ook is named in honor of Gary Anderson of the Ook-Ooks.
"Ook, strong like bull, smart like tractor, smooth like brick, smell like goat." - Gary Anderson.
This art doll is not a toy, and is not intended for children.
