There is a chance for shrinking in the boards once received depending on climate. Which may result in some spacing in the boards. This is what makes them unique as they are authentic*****

All barrel heads are glued together so they don't come apart, sanded down and sealed on both front and back.
All Barrel heads are unique and all look different.
There can be slight imperfections and gaps in the wood.

While cleaned up to the best of my efforts, it may contain: wax remnants around the outside rim (where sealed to barrel), imperfect joints, char marks, etc. Their beauty is found within their patina and character, plus you can feel good knowing they are produced from a reclaimed resource!

As these are real bourbon barrels that have been soaked in bourbon for a long time. They can shrink and expand with climate. We get the mositure level down low but they will always have some left. Which once placed in a home can cause them to change with temperature. This is natural as with any real wood. Doesn't Happen to all. We have multiple hanging in our basement for years and some do and some don't.
