These 3 volume sets of the Chinese classic tales by published by the Foreign Languages Press, Beijing, are considered the tomes of Chinese culture. The 3 paperback books in the set come in a printed cardboard box and were purchased at a Foreign Languages Bookstore in China in the mid to late 1990s.

The sets are in good condition with little to no signs of use. The buy quality of the printing is quite typical of printing in China in the 1990s, so there will be some ink smears and small variances in depth of the letters and illustrations, but someone would have made sure all the pages were legible.
Even though they are paperbacks, they are very dense, thus heavy sets.
