Imperial Glass 1960s Purple Slag End of Day Owl w/ glass amber eyes The end of day slag glass is always impressive with the variation in color and how the colors swirl together. Does have a minor chip on the underside of the head and a couple of hairline cracks (as shown in photos). This cannot be seen when displayed. Please see all photos. It is opalescent white milk glass and has amber eyes. The Imperial Glass Co. was established in 1901 in Bellaire, Ohio by Edward Muhleman with production beginning in 1904 to 1985. The handmade glasswares were sold worldwide and usually made of press glass patterns. Very clean, excellent vintage condition! 6.75" H x 3" W x 3.5" D.
